At Fault Car Accident

An at fault car accident claim, and a no fault car accident claim, are two entirely different types of claims. An at fault claim is a claim that names one of the parties involved as the faulted party, determines the level of liability of both parties, and establishes what each party (their insurance providers) is obligated to pay in compensation, if any. A no fault car accident does not seek to establish blame, and provides compensation for the party that has no fault liability insurance without establishing who is at fault. In essence, in a no fault car accident, everyone pays for their own losses and damages, and does not hold the other party liable. An at fault car accident can prove to be very costly for the faulted party. No necessarily out-of-pocket costs, but in that their insurance premiums will go up considerably as a result of their guilt in the accident.
