Question:

I got into a rear end auto accident that was not my fault on the freeway. The damage was pretty bad and my car got totaled, and I faced very minor injuries or so it felt. I felt pretty okay afterwards, but I felt forced to take an ambulance. I have the bare minimum coverage on my insurance, but now I have a big ambulance bill I can't afford to pay, what should I do?

Answer: (1)

Considering the accident wasn't your fault, the other party's insurance company should be liable for your ambulance bill as well as medical bills. If their insurance coverage is insufficient, or they are denying your claim, you should speak to a Car Accident Attorney to help litigate the matter. They do a good job at negotiating fair settlements from insurance providers.

Also, you should consult with your physician to determine your exact medical injuries, costs, and take that into your claim as well. If insurance coverage is still insufficient, you can take the person to a small claims court as well and sue for the rest of the damages.
