I have been wrongfully accused of Hit and Run, how can I fight this charge?

This car that parks at the same parking lot at work as me is accusing me of hitting their car. We have designated spots, and she had some damage on her rear right bumper and is positive I scraped it when backing out. I know I didn't do it there is no visible damage on my car. The cops showed up at my house and I am being charged of hit and run. What can I do?

There will have to be some hard evidence in order to be convicted besides a simple statement. Has the police inspected your car for damages?

If you end up being prosecuted, you must hire a Traffic Ticket Attorney to fight this charge as you will have a very difficult time doing so on your own. It can go on your driving record and be charged as a misdemeanor, not to mention the fines you'll have to pay to the state and for the damage you have caused.
