An object on the road caused me to weave and hit a Pole. I am put at Fault for this auto accident. Can I defend this?

I was driving home late at night and there was some construction going on a small two lane road. It looked like some piece of equipment was left obstructing my path on the road so I had weaved out of its way and hit a Light pole. My car is damaged pretty badly and I'm still waiting on estimates for damage. The insurance has deemed me as responsible for this accident since it was a single car accident, but this was not my fault. How can I fight this?

This is a classic situation where you would need a car accident attorney to help defend your claim with the insurance company. Insurance companies will deem the driver responsible the majority of the time under these circumstances . Hiring a car accident attorney would be your best bet in help examining the details of the accident, and proving to the insurance company that it was not your fault. Perhaps some of the blame may be passed onto the construction workers who left the equipment out there. In order to that, you would also need a lawyer as well.
