Staff Writer, Jun 20, 2007

Daunte Culpepper, the Miami Dolphins quarterback, injured his non-throwing hand in a two-car accident that occured on the Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs.  He did not sustain any significant damage that would affect his playing ability.

Though he hurt his hand, Culpepper is upset about the damage to his car.  "My heart is broke," Culpepper said in an e-mail. "A guy rear-ended my 1975 convertible Caprice Classic. I had just got a new paint job. I am fine. I had a minor top-of-my-left-hand contusion. The X-rays were negative."
