CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Coast Guard medevaced a male car accident victim on Padre Island National Seashore, Texas, Friday evening. A watch-stander at Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi, Texas, received a request for assistance from an air ambulance company responding to a rollover car accident at 6:45 p.m.
An HH-65B Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Corpus Christi was launched and recovered one of the victims, a male who was suffering from injuries to the neck and chest and had several lacerations.
The crew transported the man safely to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi.
